Meet Christa Alaburda, our new full-time Campus Minister, for the RooCatholic Newman Center community! Christa comes to us from the corporate world, with 15 years of business and marketing experience, but felt called to dive deeper into ministry, after spending many years in service and volunteer work with young people. She is excited about meeting all the students at Akron and walking with them in their faith and life journeys. Christa enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, being outdoors, traveling, volunteering, and serving the underprivileged in the community. She holds an MBA, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Theology at St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology in Cleveland.
